The Rai Social Action Department, directly in Staff to CEO, is responsible for company communication and social programming, with a view to defining the communication guidelines and the reference principles for the presentation of social problems by the Rai, within the service contract between the Rai and the Communications Ministry. The Department defines, proposes and/or creates the initiatives on social matters both externally and within the radio, TV and multimedia programming, in collaboration with the associations and institutions in charge. It welcomes and evaluates the social matters represented by the associations and institutions which operate like this, by means of direct interfacing with them, with a view to making the public as aware of social problems as possible.
